I feel old

Well, today is my last day of being 25 and tomorrow I turn the big 26. I know that this age is not a major milestone birthday or anything. But let me tell you, I feel old. Turning 26 is that much closer to 30. Not that there is anything wrong with turning 30, its just one of those ages that freaks me out as I know it does others too. So for now I will deal with turning 26, man do I feel old...

Rude people

I totally have to go off about rude people, which goes right up there with stupid people in my book. Today is the day of rude people at my work. I am in the heating and air business so when it gets 105 like it is suppose to be today the phone goes insane. And usually its just me to handle all the lines. So, you'd think that these people would be semi-nice as they are trying to get a miracle to happen, get their air fixed in this weather. Nope, not today. Is there a full moon or something? And I have been doing this a while, so I know how to handle these people, but still. Anyhow, this leads me to my story, I was randomly reading another blog and the guy was talking about how this man had been extremely rude on the phone to him for no apparent reason. And therefore he had decided that everytime he was having a bad day he was going to call this man and yell asshole and hang up. He said it made him feel better to unleash himself on this man. Can you imagine if we all had this random person who everytime we were having a bad day we called and just yelled at and hung up? And mind you they totally deserved it because they had been rude to you first, not really, but nice thought huh? But, every once in a while we could all use a punching bag to unleash the ourselves!

May she have bad karma forever

My car definitely has a bulls eye on it. I was hit the other weekend leaving the mall. And to top it off the dang lady drove off. Yep, hit and run! Dang her!! And I had just recently settled from my first car accident in which a man had t-boned me. I was so done with having to deal with this shit and it happens again. My poor car and its not like it is a really bad dent or anything but still. I hope this lady has bad karma for the rest of her life... she deserves it! At least if she had stopped and didn't have insurance I would have gotten my deductible waived, but because it was a hit and run I have to pay it, whack huh? If I was a witch or something I'd put a cruse on her... but since I'm not, may she have bad karma forever!

boys & their cars

Ok, so lately I've been noticing a lot of boys driving those VW golf cars. And it's always the same type of looking boy. It's usually a skater type looking boy in his late teens early twenties. It's like how people look like their dogs, I think people look like their cars. I would never expect to see a middle aged woman tooling around town in her VW golf, it just wouldn't happen. And I am not particularily sure what these boys see in these cars. And I know that they must have some appeal about them because for a second there my brother wanted one... mind you he's like 23 now. He totally fits the profile of whom I expect to see driving it. And I have actually dated a guy who drove one before and yeah that says it all. There is nothing at all special about these dang little cars, yet he treated it like a sportscar. I mean come on it's a small box looking car, nothing to write home about. Next time you are driving around check out the driver of one of these golfs, I'm sure you'd too think he kinda looks like his car in a wierd sort of way. And does he fit the imagine of every guy I see driving one? Don't even get me started on boys who drive mustangs...
